Privacy Policy
Short version: your content never leaves your browser. We can't see it, and neither can anyone else.
How our tools handle your data
All tools on HTML Pocket process your input locally, in your browser, using JavaScript. When you paste HTML into a tool:
- Your content is never uploaded to our servers.
- Your content is never stored in any database or log.
- Nothing you type is shared with third parties.
- Theme preference is saved in your browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device.
Server logs and analytics
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs for security and reliability, which may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. These logs are not used to profile you and are retained for a limited period.
Cookies
HTML Pocket does not use tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is a single localStorage key (hp-theme) to remember your light/dark theme preference.
Advertising
HTML Pocket currently shows no ads. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated first.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
